The biggest drain on resources I believe is 20 tabs open in chrome.Īlso we run MSP agent and Sentinal1 which does eat resources. Some clients use a management system for inventory but its basically a skin which pulls info from a server. I get no complaints from users on these machines. Then if the part is bad or doesn't fix the issue its a waiting game. I did this at my last company and while its nice to have next day support, leading up to the tech coming out is annoying. I like this its easy and don't need to sit with dell support waiting on them to go through the script. If they don't they give me my money back and the hard drive.
I buy locally and can bring them in for warranty.
Typically I will buy refurbished machines with a warranty.
I've worked for many companies where cost really matters.
