Leaker KatharsisT from Resetera has said that there are 'several MGS Remakes' in development. Multiple leaks have suggested that Sony is having Bluepoint Games work on a Metal Gear Solid PS5 remake, but it seems that there may be more than just the original Metal Gear Solid remake to look forward to. One Konami franchise in particular, Metal Gear Solid, has been at the center of the rumors. One of the more persistent rumors is that Sony has made deals with Konami for some of its games to make their way to the PlayStation 5 console as exclusives, though nothing official has been announced at the time of this writing.
As Konami has shown an increasing disinterest in traditional video game development and publishing, fans have been hoping to see its popular IP picked up by other companies.
